I don't think there is a better description for this album then the one that Henry has already provided (that description again: “a soundtrack for daydreamers who like walking around town with their headphones on thinking life could be better although life is pretty good as it is”). I can't think of how many times I have walked around daydreaming with this on my headphones, thinking exactly as Henry suggests one might.
I would add another interesting point about this album: throughout the course of owning it, each track will eventually become your favourite track on the album for an unknown amount of time only to be replaced by one of the other tracks until one day you realize just how great every single track is. I've done the complete cycle through which song was my favourite and am now back on Fredricton as my hands down favourite. Not sure how long until Indio regains the top spot.
Albums are a lot like children, and Henry tells us what this kid means to him:
“It means a lot to me. I'm very proud of the songs. I think these songs are among my best but then again. They remind me of a special time in my life and I still enjoy listening to them.”
No home (or other places you like to visit) should be without this EP.
