I Left Home is the perfect travel companion for anybody on the road to or away from home. Sean has a gritty, whiskey and smoke stained voice that suits the sparse acoustic arrangements. Old soul wisdom, or rather, old drifter wisdom fills every note.

“All of the lyrics were written shortly after I moved to Winnipeg, MB, and the majority of the recording was done in my apartment with a single microphone, 4-track mixer, and Garageband. I liked how the songs ended up having a very hollow and open sound to them.

The songs on this album were captured moments of the confusion and anxiety I felt after moving to a new city. It remains close to me and is a reminder of who I was and who I became through those experiences.”
