We attempted to cram over 10 years of Patrick Porter creativity into one digital mix tape. We hope that you enjoy our 40+ minute attempt at doing so. But, even more so, we hope yout take it upon yourself to investigate Patrick Porter –the man, the myth, the mystic– further.
Each side is just over 20 minutes long and your download comes with PDF liner notes for a bit more info / porter. The Patrick Porter albums featured in some form or another are: A Swan at Smiley's, Bachelor Pad Blue, Darlene Evening, U.S.A., Die Wandaland, Goodbye Pork Pie Heart, Lisha Kill, Maybe Waltz, Skylan Mo, and This Machine Kills Bathos.
“It is a good flash of old light and new hairdo(s). Those wires trail through the thickset walls and come out the other side giggling and groping aglow. Tink them bottles and circle them wagons. All over the place in the same changing brains. A good blue-dew salad before the long chomp. - - - - - - - - - - (Highway lines in Iowa). I I I I I I I I I I (Telephone poles in Alabama headlight night).”
“But how much will such an expansive history of one mans music set me back?” you might be wondering. How does $0 sound?
