Xisco was one of those fine people I met before Myspace truly went to shit. It was the song he sang when he was there that really pulled me in. It is still one of my favourites. I've gone back to it for many a mix tape.
“Those four songs came to the world while I was living in Berlin, having an acoustic guitar with me, and during a break I took from playing with my former band. Back in Spain, I traveled for a weekend to Villena, in the countryside of Alicante, where a friend lives and records his music. During those 48 hours we recorded the songs, and were later mixed and home-mastered at my place in Madrid in the early spring of 2008. They were also the cause of the whole thing moving on and going into live shows as well as, for example, having met this community of musicians.”
This album is available as a 'pay what you wish'. So, if you have a spare dollar, maybe throw one in the pot. But if you don't, at least grab the tunes and then tell your friends to check them out.
