Recorded in the summer and fall of 2010 in Toronto, Ontario. All music was written, arranged and recorded by Eric Reid & Jonathan Crane… except "Don't Be Crushed" which was written by Hawksley Workman.
I think this album is the perfect mix of childhood wonder and adulthood worry, all buried perfectly under some of the catchiest choruses you've ever heard. It has been a major part of my headphones repertoire ever since the first taste. But what does the EP mean to its creator?
“I was going through this awful time in my life like a year ago where my shitty CAD condenser microphone and my mediocre lag-master M-Audio Ozone USB keyboard were both destroyed from too much reckless treatment. I was in a job where I made like no money, so I was never able to get new equipment and it was so shitty not ever being to record anything. Then I got a new job where I made more money and I saved up and bought a sweet iMac and some much better equipment. So this EP was like me experimenting and celebrating with my new gear and working it all out.”
